About Us

Our Story

Business Accounting Ltd was founded in 2018 by Dean Robertson ACMA BSc, with the aim of equipping small businesses to view a real time position of their organisation and reduce time spent on administration. Before this, Dean worked in the finance departments of several large Midlands-based organisations across a range of industries for over 14 years. Click on the image for more information.

During that time his work focused on reporting and forecasting – an area he is particularly passionate about. Often small business owners find themselves caught up in admin and lose track of the bigger picture and the values that got them to where they are now. By freeing up admin time and gaining an understanding of their current position, owners can focus on planning and forecasting to achieve their long-term goals.

Approach

Accountants add true value by providing businesses with essential tools needed to monitor their accounts in real time. Simply completing annual tax returns provides a solid service but it adds little value to the growth, profitability and stability of a business.

We are dedicated to providing first-class customer service seven days a week. We strive to exceed our clients’ expectations with a swift and effective response to all queries, with no unexpected surprises along the way.

Technology

In a fast-paced, ever-changing world, we keep ourselves updated on the latest news from the tech world, using what we’ve learned to support our customers’ cash flow, reduce administration time and all but eliminate errors. Some examples include: automating retail tills and websites to the accounting system, allowing customers to pay with PayPal or Credit/Debit card.
